"Let's talk about your desire to have a baby!"

"As leading specialists in medically assisted reproduction we consider it our task - together with your treating doctor - to increase your individual chances of finally becoming parents. In doing so, our focus is on safe and quality-approved diagnostic and therapeutic options, but above all we want to live up to the trust you have placed in the experience and competence of our team. Our time is yours - we are looking forward to welcoming you to our premises."

Univ. Prof. Dr.
Herbert Zech

"With our long years of experience we remain by your side!"

"35 years ago, for the first time, I had the privilege of assisting an infertile couple, both professionally and personally, in making their dream of having a child come true. Ever since, again and again we have been able to witness this special moment when human life begins with the fusion of egg and sperm, to see pregnancy develop successfully in order to finally result in the birth of a healthy baby. In the meantime, grown into a large team working at numerous locations throughout Europe, we can look back on plenty of such precious moments and are looking forward to further challenges still lying ahead of us."

Since their foundation in 1984 in Bregenz, the presence of the IVF Centers Prof. Zech has been strengthened continuously by adding new locations in a number of other countries. This holds also true for 2018, when the IVF Centers Prof. Zech became part of the NEXTCLINICS group and, together with a considerably enlarged team of internationally recognized experts, will continue to assume an active and central role in the international development of assisted reproductive technology (ART).

Aspects in Fertility Treatment

Infertility - What are the causes?

The causes of infertility in women / men require medical clarification by experienced specialists who can subsequently determine the appropriate therapy.

Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART)

"In Vitro Fertilization" provides couples dealing with undesired infertility with the chance to become pregnant with the help of medical support. There is a wide variety of different methods and techniques (e.g. IVF, ICSI, IMSI). The choice of the appropriate procedure depends upon the couple’s initial situation. In a personal consultation the doctor will discuss with the couple which therapy is the most promising for the situation at hand.

Egg Donation /
Sperm Donation

There are situations where couples are unable, for various reasons (e.g. premature menopause, cancer treatment, surgical removal of both ovaries), to conceive from their own oocytes/sperm. The use of donor eggs/sperm in IVF treatment may thus be considered as the method of choice. Different legal requirements may apply here.

Genetics in the context
of Fertility Treatment

Couples whose medical situation (indication) complies with the requirements set out by the applicable national laws have the option of undergoing IVF treatment coupled with the use of special genetic analyses on the oocyte or the embryo prior to its transfer to the woman's womb. This is intended to identify or rule out possible genetic disorders.
