1. Initial consultation

We would be glad to advise you personally at one of our centers and together with you we will establish an individual treatment concept, so that your wish to conceive a child may come true.

We kindly ask you to send us all available medical results and laboratory findings prior to that first appointment. This allows us to adequately prepare your visit.

In order to comply with the legal requirements we would ask you to strictly observe the legal stipulations of the respective country (e.g. photo ID, copy of marriage certificate or notarial deed as original). We will be pleased to give you details by telephone in advance.

Kinderwunschbehandlung - ErstgesprächIn order to organize your first consultation and create optimal conditions for the subsequent treatment it is of paramount importance to establish a precise diagnosis. To avoid unnecessary costs and time loss by repeated, unnecessary lab results and examinations, we would politely request that you send us all available results. Please feel free to transmit us your medical results online – in a simple and direct way: by using our “online-registration”.

If during an initial consultation we may discover the lack of important results, these tests can be performed at our centers.

4. Legal requirements

We are dedicated to offer you cutting-edge fertility treatment options at the most advanced state of the art international standards.

We are well aware that these treatments can be viewed from different angles. In our opinion, there is no such thing as “do-gooders” in one country and “bad people” in another one. The reasons for these different legal standards are highly complex and often deeply anchored in the history of a country.

Unmarried couples

In contrast to the situation in Germany, undergoing IVF treatment in Austria is relatively uncomplicated for unmarried couples. The appointment for the required notarial deed can easily be organized by our centers.

Please contact us if you have any questions.

Cost reimbursement

Austria

Under certain conditions the Ministry for Social Affairs covers 70 % of IVF treatment cost and medication of couples having their health insurance in Austria (IVF fund).

Germany

Since January 2004, German health insurance companies only cover up to a maximum of 50 % of their patients' IVF treatment cost. The contribution is limited to 3 treatment cycles. The couple has to be married, both partners have to be over 25, the woman under the age of 40 and the man under the age of 50, respectively. Policy conditions between statutory insurances and private health insurances may vary greatly. An IVF treatment in another European country needs to be approved by the health insurance company. Please refer to your health insurance company for terms and conditions and further details.
